She strives to create a safe and welcoming environment to allow people working with me to show up as themselves, utilizing verbal and non-verbal therapies such as creative art therapy, journaling, and breath work. Furthermore, Sade has conducted research on how art therapy can begin to address the cultural and racial wounds of ancestral trauma.

Sade identifies as Black Woman of African American descent. In her free time, she enjoys painting, cooking, reading, watching TV (Married at First Sight, All American, Insecure, and more recently Bridgerton) and spending time with family and friends. For self-care practice, Sade uses journaling, meditation, skin/hair routines, personal art making, napping and connecting with her support system.

As she prides herself on giving back to her community, Sade regularly donates food items and coats/hats/gloves/blankets to several charitable organizations. She assisted with a school closure in a Black and Brown community, where she provided art-based activities to students and staff around processing the closure. In 2017, she traveled to Tanzania to for two weeks to provide art-based community engagement to primary school students.
