Rachel Parodneck, LMSW
Rachel grew up in New Jersey and moved to New York City to attend New York University where she studied psychology and art at Gallatin School of Individualized Study. Rachel received her Master of Science in Social Work graduate degree at Columbia University School of Social Work. Her clinical interests include treating individuals experiencing substance use disorders and mood disorders.
Rachel believes that self-care is an important part of any healthy lifestyle. For her own self-care, she enjoys playing classical piano, perusing thrift stores and farmer’s markets and traveling.
Rachel is passionate about early childhood education and universal healthcare. She has volunteered as a tutor for elementary school aged children at Henry Street Settlement and at Housing Works, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals living with HIV/AIDS.
Rachel grew up waiting to live in New York City and has lived in Manhattan the past eleven years. The vibrancy and diversity that make up New York City are the reasons Rachel is proud to call the city home.
