Chianne Green, LMSW
As a Brooklyn native Chianne learned to appreciate all of what New York City has to offer. She attended Adelphi University where she studied psychodynamic theories and received her undergraduate degree in Psychology. During her time at Adelphi she worked with family, youth, and children to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for everyone thrive and reach their full potential. She also volunteered at Rely for Life, an event sponsored by the American Cancer Society. Chianne went on to Columbia University School of Social Work to receive her Masters of Social Work with a concentration in Practice & Programming and specialization in Contemporary Social Issues. There she began training and honing her skills in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. While at Columbia she worked in various practice settings including social service agencies, homeless shelters, and school-based programs. With the common goal of providing clients the tools they need to cope with life challenges. In her spare time she attended evens and rallies for Black Lives Matter.
Chianne’s therapeutic style includes a combination of Psychodynamic modalities, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques and Motivational Interviewing. She has
furthered her clinical training at the Beck Institute of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Her clinical interests include helping clients address challenges and providing them with the support and tools to address their problems.
In her free time Chianne enjoys eating out, going to the gym, and attending concerts and Broadway shows. She also enjoys traveling and experiencing different cultures.
