Advocacy Groups to Know on International Women’s Day

March 8th, International Women’s Day, is a day to recognize and celebrate women around the world. It serves as a platform to uplift women and their achievements throughout the year. The past year has proven to be a challenge for women’s rights across the world. The COVID19 pandemic has shown gaps in access to healthcare, unequal work opportunities for women, and proposed legislation to hinder women’s rights. Women have long been at the forefront of the movement for justice and equal rights. Today, we are asked to recognize these efforts.
